Refunds & Cancellation
It is important to compensate the parties involved appropriately for any payment discrepancies. If you have any questions, reach out to us.

Telemedicine cannot replace the experience of that of an in-person visit at the Doctor's Clinic or to the hospital. We strive to make the payment process as smooth as possible. However, in the current pandemic situations, due to unavoidable circumstances, the doctors may not be able to consult the patient at a desired time or may have to cancel the consult due to various scenarios. We discuss some of these scenarios below. If you have any questions regarding cancellations, refund - please email us at aniruddha@onemd.in and we will get back to you within 2 business days.

OneMD reserves the right to make a final decision in case of a conflict in all of the scenarios.

Scenario 1: Patient Cancellation

We respect that the patient may have to cancel the consultation, due to unavoidable reasons, however respecting the doctor's time and compensating them for the time lost is equally important. We consider this appointment a NO SHOW appointment and the doctor is compensated for 50% of the fees of the appointment. If you have paid for the full consultation, write to us within 24 Hours of the NO SHOW - at aniruddha@onemd.in. After investigating whether this has been a genuine NO SHOW - we will refund 50% of the consultation fees back to you with 3-4 business days.

Scenario 2: Doctor Reschedule or Cancellation

Although the doctors strive to attend each patient they are scheduled for, due to a high volume of consultations, over phone and video, doctors may not be able to attend the patient at a scheduled time. If the doctor is unable to attend the video call, the Doctor will inform the patient about an alternative availability. In case of an alternate timing is confirmed and consult is completed, the patient is not eligible for any refund.

If the doctor does not inform the patient of an alternative time and/or arrange for an alternate consultation, the patient can write to us at aniruddha@onemd.in. We will try to arrange for an alternate time for the consult.

In the case that, the consult is cancelled by the Doctor, knowingly, for any reason, a full refund will be initiated to the patient within 7-10 business days, after confirming all details.

Scenario 3: Patient Ends an Ongoing Consultation

The patient may end the consult, if they do not anymore wish to continue the consult, for any reason. The patient is not eligible for any refund in this scenario.

Scenario 4: Doctor Ends an Ongoing Consultation

The doctor may end the consult, if they do not wish to continue the consult, for any reason, including but not limited to, if the doctor thinks that the consult may not be appropriate or if they do not feel qualified to answer the questions without examining further or if they do not have adequate information from the patient. The doctor shall explain to the patient, why they are ending the consult. In this case - the patient can write to us at aniruddha@onemd.in. After investigating the genuineness, if the doctor has assessed the case and has declined to provide a treatment, a 50% refund may be initiated to the patient. In case the doctor has entirely refused to attend to the patient, and has asked for him/her to consult another doctor, 100% refund may be initiated against. OneMD reserves the right on the final decision in case of a conflict.

Scenario 5: Consultation ends due to a technical failure

In case the consultation ends due to a technical failure, the doctor shall ask the patient for an alternative availability and complete the consultation during that time.
